    Have to tell those of you who don't have a sewing machine.

    I bought a mini one yesterday from Superdrug for £4.49 in the sale- very light and portable. It only does straight stitch but it comes with a mains adaptor and foot pedal. I've tried it out and it's great on paper and it's pink!

    I have one that only does straight stitching... it is a Singer hand crank, about 120 years old, still in its original oak case! Love it for sewing fabric, but never tried it on paper...
